Leanne and Jacob came to Filoli Gardens with a clear vision: vintage-inspired and a little cinematic. Jacob in a tailored suit, Leanne in a white linen dress, a paper parasol catching the afternoon light.

We followed them through the estate's hedges, fountains, and reflecting pools, working in a documentary style and letting the moments unfold rather than directing them.

Filoli has been one of our favorite spots in the Bay Area for couples photography since the first time we shot there. Few engagement session locations near San Francisco offer this kind of texture, history, and quiet.
